Oxford Open Energy Webinar: Can we transform the energy system without energy efficiency?

Can we transform the energy system without energy efficiency?

The growing challenges of today´s society calls for a wider discussion on energy efficiency, and a key question is if we can transform the energy system without energy efficiency.

  • What will be the result if we do not meet targets of energy efficiency agreed upon?
  • What are the main constraints to address to meet these targets?
  • Who will drive the transformative change required and how?
  • What will be the role of the researchers and what research will be needed for a transformative change?

We welcome you to join our webinar on the 17th of November, 1:00PM-2PM GMT / 2:00pm-3:00pm CET

The webinar will place a special focus on energy efficiency in buildings, nevertheless, we welcome a broad discussion on transformative change of the energy system.

The event will be formed as a panel-discussion and our panel members include Professor Diana Urge-Vorsatz, professor at CEU and Vice chair of IPCC, Paolo Bertoldi, senior expert at the European Commission and Nils Borg, Executive Director of eceee.

The webinar is organised by Oxford Open Energy.
