Geneva national workshop

The eceee energy sufficiency project held a national workshop in Geneva in February 2018. The workshop offered a first chance for a stakeholder audience to discuss the ideas that the sufficiency project was developing.

It is clear that we need to present energy sufficiency to policy makers in a way that shows it is a good thing and an achievable thing.  In fact it may be more effective to start the discussion with civil society groups rather than policy-makers; they may be more receptive to the ideas and willing to start implementing them. This workshop discussed these issues and considered the initial policy messages that were emerging from the energy sufficiency project.
